Defense Research Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Conduct detailed requirements or training analyses for AFGSC A5B or A3T. Use rated aviation experience to quantify, document, and defend complex technical analyses underpinning decisions on multi-billion dollar procurements. Write original, detailed, technically complex DoD, JCS, and Air Force requirements documents and briefings.
Basic
Qualifications:
2 years of experience as staff at or above the Major Command level
Knowledge of the DoDD 5000 series, JCS JCIDS process, and the Air Force AoA process
Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in original writing and construct and present technically complex presentations to Air Force Senior officers
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Air Force aeronautical rating with experience in AFGSC air breathing weapon system operations
Additional
Qualifications:
Experience as Headquarters Air Force, JCS, Joint, or DoD staff
Knowledge of current tactics, techniques, and procedures
Ability to work together well in a group
Possession of excellent facilitation skills to bring consensus from multiple stakeholders with competing points of view
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
