The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Lead, 608 AOC Security Management Team to manage and oversee security programs developed to protect the enterprise from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to enterprise and enterprise mission interests, national defense or national security.
Responsibilities Serves as Security Management Team Lead in administering the Information Security Program protecting the enterprise from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to enterprise mission interests, national defense or national security.
Directs the personnel security program to ensure secure accomplishment of the enterprise's missions, goals and objectives through proactive application of security principles, policies, and practices.
Provides enterprise and subordinate organizations worldwide with authoritative guidance on aspects concerning physical security programs for the protection of classified national security information, both Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral information Manages the Industrial Security Program.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS).
The GG-13 duties for the Administrative and Management work category are at the Full Performance work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level.
The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

Experience:
Your resume must reflect quality level experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position.
Quality experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
Examples of creditable experience include Knowledge of a range of concepts, principles and practices in the implementation of multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information, including knowledge of current information systems, data bases, operating systems, and applications, and skill in applying this knowledge to work assignments; Comprehensive, practical knowledge of multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information policies and procedures in order to implement skills and applying knowledge Note:
Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

Knowledge of a wide range of advanced concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices involved in security.
2.
Knowledge of security program interrelationships to coordinate the objectives and plans of two or more specialized programs to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
3.
Skill to interpret a variety security program laws, directives, regulations, and guidance to assist subordinate organizations in establishing and operating internal security programs.
4.
Skill in the use of analytical principles, practices, and techniques to review, evaluate, and apply several alternatives according to the security requirements for highly specific situations, availability of materials, relationships with other protective programs, and cost/benefit considerations.
5.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately to a large range of audiences.
6.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small organization and establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
Conditions of Employment Continued:
1.
Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
2.
Drug Testing:
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
3.
Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification, Security Asset Protection Professional Certification, and Physical Security Certification conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.
13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and Certification.
The listed certification requirements may not be deleted or modified without the written approval of the AF Security Functional Authority (SAF/AA) or their delegated security career field representative.
4.
The duties of this position meets all requirements as a category 4 designation and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the parent Federal Agency or office to function effectively.
This position must be removed from the Ready Reserve and CAN NOT become a member of the Ready Reserve.

Mission Essential:
This is a Mission-Essential position performing a Mission-Critical-Function which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
